Expanding Our Horizons: Unlocking New Global and Specialized Procurement Portals
At OpenOpps, our mission is to give you the most comprehensive view of the global public procurement market. In our latest update, we’ve integrated over 40 new high-value tender portals.
Instead of just adding these to our database, we want to highlight exactly where these new opportunities are coming from and the specific industries they unlock for your business.

Geographic Expansion: Where We Are Growing
The UK and European Public Sector We’ve heavily expanded our coverage across Europe. In the UK, we’ve refreshed major sources including three ministerial sources and a major upgrade of a regional portal. In France, we’ve added deep regional coverage from Bordeaux, Nantes, Alsace, and the Ain department. In Germany, our network now includes key state portals for Hessen and Bavaria, alongside transport and infrastructure sources. We've also added new sources in CroatiaSerbia, SwedenPoland a refresh of ProZorro in Ukraine.

Expanding in the Americas For users targeting North America, we’ve successfully integrated major municipal portals, including New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco. In Canada, we've added specialized boards and some grant data. Further south, we are thrilled to bring you the centralised procurement portal for Panama, PanamaCompra, and the Barbados Integrated Government portal.

Asia-Pacific Opportunities We are unlocking massive government contracts in Asia with the addition of the PhilGEPS platform, the definitive centralized portal for Philippine government procurement. We have also integrated sources Hong Kong.

For suppliers in construction or transport, this update is a significant one. You can now track tenders from major transit authorities like France's SNCF (railways) and RATP (Paris transport), Germany's DEGES (infrastructure and roads), and the UK’s Department for Transport. We've also added Hong Kong's Highways Department and Water Supplies Department.

Defense & Diplomacy For defense contractors and international development firms, we have updates for the UK Ministry of Defence Sourcing Portal, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, and the European External Action Service (EEAS), which manages the EU's diplomatic and overseas crisis response missions.

Innovation, Science & Energy Tech and energy firms can now easily find opportunities with the Fraunhofer Society in Germany, focusing on cutting-edge research and innovation. We've also added the UK's Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and the SGN Procurement Portal for gas and energy networks.
