The expert is required to carry out specified duties in relation to the pricing and validation of the Construction segment of the Purchasing Power Parity survey and to participate as an advisor to the Central Statistics Office on matters relating to Construction. The services expected from the Construction Pricing Expert will be considered central to the successful completion of the Construction segment of the Purchasing Power Parity. Specific details of these requirements may alter and new requirements may arise as the project progresses. Arrangements between the Central Statistics Office and the Construction Pricing Expert will encompass appropriate flexibility for such changes. The contract covers the 2017 and 2018 Construction Surveys. The successful candidate will be required to complete the 2017 and 2018 surveys, provide feedback on proposed bills-of-quantities. Beneficiaries are also required to participate in the validation process and to provide the updated survey reports. In addition, countries are required to participate in multi-country meetings in order to discuss the 2017 and 2018 construction surveys.
