DDA Adaptations of Detached Bungalows, 1 and 2 Nursery Gardens, Viewpark.

The Project is for the provision of alteration and adaptation of two bungalows to meet the needs of wheel chair users. The works involve the widening of existing door openings, renewing some of the internal partitions and adjacent ceilings along with the provision of kitchens and bathrooms suitable for use by disabled occupants. The existing central heating, mechanical ventilation, smoke detection, electrical installations and alarm systems to be modified as required. The new internal finishes will be limited to decoration of the new partitions, installation of wet floors to bathrooms and renewal of laminate flooring in one of the bungalows. Externally provision has to be made for ramped access to the rear doors and a paved footpath and drive at the side of the bungalows.
