About the Opportunity: Contractors will be expected to support the Council in delivering services that support a best value approach as defined by the UK Government. This contract is for the development of our communication strategy with the design, print and distribution of the company's resident newsletter, CityWest News. It is a bi-monthly, 16 page, tabloid style newspaper with a circulation of 25,000 and distribution to 19 different location points. The contract includes provision of a full electronic version of the newspaper for web use. The products and services to be procured are: - Design, Print and Distribution of the 16 page, tabloid style, resident newsletter. - Provide Adobe files of newsletter and all publications for web use. The intention is for services to commence in April 2010. We aim to produce a short list of 10 suppliers. From here, sucessful suppliers will be invited to tender. About the buyer's selection process: The supplier will need to: - maximise the effectiveness of our corporate brand and communications - the brand itself must be understood by all key audiences including tenants, residents, business partners, regulators, employees, the media and all other groups that determine the ability of our organisation to do business. Important factors in the selection process will be experience in similar services, experience of the team in working with similar clients, cost and ability to meet time scales.
