Spend Network is a small startup that specialises in using open data on government spending and contracting to improve the way Government spends money, to combat corruption and to improve the effectiveness of public tendering. Our customers come from private sector and government. They buy raw data, online analytics and professional research services from us.
We’re committed to open data and regularly work with NGOs like the Open Contracting Partnership and Transparency International to highlight how public procurement could be improved.
We’re a small team of six with a based in a startup hub in Westminster, London. We welcome home and remote working and encourage a culture of self-reliance.
We have multiple sources of data, from our own data on who is winning contracts, to data from our website analytics and social media accounts. We need to bring this data together and to use it to create new leads for the business.
We’re looking for someone to work with our existing data and to bring new sources of data together to understand how we can create warm leads for our work. Some people might call this ‘growth hacking’, but we don’t like the implication that there’s some sort of magic bullet or ‘cheat’ for your business.
The role would suit a graduate who has strong analytical capabilities and an interest in using marketing to drive growth. While this is not a sales role, it is a commercial role, so you will have some contact with customers and you need to be ready to explain our products and services to potential customers as part of your work.
