The WHSCT are seeking to appoint a design team for proposed minor refurbishment work for BSO Shared Accommodation on the Second Floor of the Main Building at the Tyrone and Fermanagh Hospital
The works involve minor refurbishing works to the existing office accommodation and toilet area. Works will include upgrading of lighting, replacement floor covering, redecoration, toilet refurbishment and door access system.
The works will be carried out in a live environment. The works must be designed and phased in such a way as to cause the minimum amount of disruption to the service.
The works are to be completed and handed over before the end of the current financial year, 31st March 2015.
The WHSCT confirm that the following consultants will be required to form part of the design team; Lead Consultant, Architect, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Structural Engineer Quantity Surveyor and CDM coordinator. Schedules of duties for these consultants will be included in ITT. It is anticipated that the lead consultant (contract administrator) will be the architect.
The contract period (for consultant services) is 6 months, October 2014 – March 2015, not including the defects liability period.
