The works will generally comprise of 177 houses and the construction of the following:- Front Boundary Brick Wall and Railings, Hard standings including associated crossovers, new concrete paving front garden footpaths, front garden moundary dividing railings, some road calming and street lighting improvements and some rear garden and gully works.
Any companies expressing an interest in this tender opportunity will be required to register on the Council's suppliers list (If not already registered) at http://appswales.alito.co.uk prior to downloading the documents. Any company acquiring documents in any way other than through the portal at http://appswales.alito.co.uk may not be considered and their submission not evaluated. If you are registering for the first time, you must register your company details against the company profile and category WB03 – Civil Engineering and Associated Multi Discipline Construction Projects. You may also register against other relevant categories.
After you have carried out and completed the above, you will then need to search through the bulletin board on the portal for our tender reference 8008CCC and register your interest in taking part in the tender process. Only at this point will you be able to access and download the tender documents.
The first stage of the procurement will include the completion of a Pre Qualification Questionnaire which will form the basis for shortlisting companies to receive a tender. (Second stage)
The Council uses member organisations affiliated to Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) as a Health & Safety assessment process. If you are not currently a compliant member of one of these schemes then you must visit http://www.ssip.org.uk to identify the affiliated organisations and ensure that you progress the accreditation process. A contract cannot be awarded until the successful tenderer can confirm that they are compliant or accredited by one of the organisations listed under the SSIP scheme.

The deadline for expressing an interest is: 16:00 Hrs on Tuesday 12th March 2013.
The deadline for receipt of any dialogues is: 16:00 Hrs on Friday 8th March 2013.
The deadline for return of the completed PQQ is: 12:00 Noon on Friday 15th March 2013.

Completion and return of the official documents in hard copy format only, by the date stated above will constitute an expression of interest. All / any costs incurred in completing the documents will be borne by the tenderer.
The Council reserves the right to award all, part or none of the business, not to proceed with the tender arrangements at any stage of the procurement process and nor to accept the most economically advantageous tender or any tender received.
