The Authority require a biological specimen Packaging System (Packaging System) to enable the safe and effective on farm collection and transportation of UN3373 Category B (blood) samples for Gamma Interferon Testing in two (2) sizes; large and small.

The Packaging System must be compliant with the Accord Dangereux Routier (ADR) Regulations which is a European Agreement concerning the international carriage of Dangerous goods by Road.

In order to ensure the quality and viability of results, samples taken in the field must reach the APHA laboratory within a specified temperature range and the Packaging System is required to ensure this can happen.
