Repair & Upgrade Works to the Oasis Swimming Pool at the Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust
The Royal United Hospital, Bath is a 650 bed district general hospital serving a population of 500,000. It is based on a 53 acre site in the Combe Park area of Bath. The Estate is made up of 64 separate blocks that range in age from the 1700’s up to the present date.
The Trust is looking to obtain pricing for the repair and upgrade works to the Oasis swimming pool. The works are to consist of the re-bedding of all the coping stones around the pool perimeter. Removing the top band of dark blue mosaic tiles, repairing the concrete surfaces disturbed and then laying a new band of dark blue mosaic tiles over that same area. Replacing the existing eight skimmers with new ones and connecting them to the existing pipe work. Replacing the deep end two number drain gratings with new stainless steel dome type. Re-building and tiling the first entry step into the pool. Inspecting the complete wall and floor tiling and carry out all repairs as necessary and re-grout all surfaces. To the perimeter paving re-lay as necessary to achieve as reasonably possible a level surface.
Bidding companies are required to be members of Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association or Institute of Sports Recreation Management. Proof of membership will be required prior to award.
