PSNI Photographic Wet Lab Print Processor
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) aims to work with communities and partners to make Northern Ireland safe, confident and peaceful. See: http://www.psni.police.uk/
Part of this involves the investigation and recording of crimes and Road Traffic Collisions (RTCs), as well as producing training and public relations images.
Imaging Services Branch, within PSNI, is responsible for producing hard copy images taken by Crime Scene Investigators and Specialist Photographers for use internally and for sharing with other criminal justice partners and agencies, where appropriate. Detailed, high quality prints of various sizes are produced, with many shown as evidence in court.
Imaging Services Branch requires one digital wet lab photographic print processor.
The contract will remain in place for an initial period of 60 months. The contract may be extended subject to budget availability for 2 further 1 year periods to cover additional warranty, service support and backup.
PSNI requires a digital wet lab system offering high volume printing, varying size outputs, with a scanning facility for a range of conventional film types. The system must allow for working without being fully attended and enable to accept ready mixed and containerised chemicals. Linked PCs must be provided with software to allow colour management and the ability to add text and graphics.
