IT Assist, the NICS ICT Shared Service Centre, provides common infrastructure and desktop services to NICS staff in the office, at home or when mobile working. It provides a cost-effective means of delivering ICT services to all Departments within the NICS, operating to industry best practices and providing improved levels of service availability and resilience to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
This document defines a requirement on behalf of IT Assist, Departments of the NICS, NIO and their respective NDPBs and Agencies. You are invited to submit a proposal for the supply, delivery and related services of approximately 1800 laptops which are due to be replaced with contract renewal options thereafter.
N.B. The numbers provided are indicative only. The customer will purchase devices as required within the period of the contract and are under no obligation to meet a minimum or maximum amount.
The contract shall commence upon award and shall remain in force for 12 months with the option to extend for two further periods of 12 months.
