This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and we are inviting suppliers to register their interest at this stage. Expression of interest here will not automatically entitle your involvement in any future procurement resultant of this notice. Any procurement conducted as a result of this notice will be advertised separately. All organisations wanting to participate within such procurement will be required to respond to the relevant advertisement when they are published.
Description of the contract:
Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AG CSU) provides commissioning support to various clients including Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs). The establishment and on-going management of Personal Health Budgets (PHB) and associated processes is one of the commissioning support services that AG CSU provides to its clients.
As CCG clients look to broaden their use of PHBs, into areas including learning disabilities, mental health and other long term condition, AG CSU would like to have a contract with a number of suppliers who can provide computer software that will assist in managing resource allocation and budget setting (relating to PHB) for these patients, as well as Continuing Healthcare eligible patients on behalf of its clients.
In essence, AG CSU is intending to establish a framework agreement with a number of suppliers for the above mentioned reasons. No amount of work or value will be guaranteed to any of the supplier under such framework agreement. Under the framework agreement, resource allocation software/system (RAS) will be procured individually or collaboratively on behalf of AG CSU’s clients as and when they request AG CSU to implement such system, in order to meet their local needs. The software will be procured from the most economically advantageous offer providing supplier as and when the need arises.
