This Contract is for the provision of building refurbishment works in the Tower Building of the North West Regional College (NWRC) Estate.
The building works will require the refurbishment of the existing HR Services & Finance office space on the ground floor (Level 1) to provide a new computer suite for the existing Learning Resource Centre. The Estates office space on the ground floor (Level 1) will also be converted to a classroom.
Existing classrooms and office space on the first floor (Level 2) will be refurbished to provide new HR Services, Finance, Estates and Marketing office space.
It is currently anticipated that these works will be completed in two phases:
Phase 1 – Conversion of approximately 462m2 of existing classrooms and office space on the first floor (Level 2) of the Tower Building into office accommodation for HR Services, Finance, Estates and Marketing offices.
Phase 2 – Conversion of approximately 740m2 of existing office space on the ground floor (Level 1) into a computer suite to extend the existing Learning Resource Centre.
Due to the educational nature of NWRC’s day to day business it is essential that Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the building refurbishment works are fully complete during the 2015 Summer recess period (July and August). Subsequently the refurbishment works will have a maximum 8 week contract period.
