Translink (Comprising of Citybus Ltd, Northern Ireland Railways Co Ltd and Ulsterbus Ltd) and including Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC) collectively known as “the Group” invites applications from suppliers for - Network (Hardware) Select List.
The Translink business based network estate is Cisco based and the networking competence within IS Services is based on this Cisco infrastructure. All hardware provided under The Select List – and for the initial Contract for York Road Network Upgrade (see below for details), must fully and seamlessly integrate with existing services, systems and competences.
We reserve the right to hold a trial at cost and risk to the Contractor to ensure that any non-Cisco equipment fully and seamlessly integrates with the existing infrastructure.
Creation of the Select List for Network Hardware
Pending budget approval, Translink may consider upgrading further locations over the next 2 – 4 years. For any such requirements Translink will run Secondary Competitions using this Select List.
The evaluation of this PQQ (including the Pricing Schedule Document C3 ) may result in the three highest scoring submissions being short listed for this Select List.
In the event that the scores are tied at 3rd position (they are mathematically equal) the Authority reserve the right to extend the shortlist to the requisite number
The Select List will be for an initial term of 2 years, with 2 options to extend - each option being a period of 1 year. It is anticipated the Contract commencement date will be Quarter 1 – 2013.
