Any company expressing an interest in this tender opportunity will be required to register on the Council's suppliers list (If not already registered) prior to downloading the tender documents. Any company acquiring documents in any way other than through this portal may not be considered and their submission not evaluated.If you are registering for the first time, you must register your company details against the company profile and category SE54 - Dredging Contractors. You may also register against other relevant categories.
After you have carried out and completed the above, you will then need to search through the bulletin board on the portal for our tender reference 6471CCC and register your interest in taking part in the tender process. Only at this point will you be able to access and download the tender documents.
The Council uses member organisations affiliated to Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) as a Health & Safety assessment process. If you are not currently a compliant member of one of these schemes then you must visit www.ssip.org.uk to identify the affiliated organisations and ensure that you progress the accreditation process. A contract cannot be awarded until the successful tenderer can confirm that they are compliant or accredited by one of the organisations listed under the SSIP scheme.

The completed tender documents must be marked Tender for the Maintenance Dredging of the Outer Harbour and Approach Channel.
The last date for obtaining the tender documents will be 16:30 Hrs on Wednesday
28th March 2012.
The last date for return of tenders will be 12:00 Noon on Monday 2nd April 2012.
Completion and return of the official tender documents in hard copy format only, by the date stated above will constitute an expression of interest. All / any costs incurred in completing the documents will be borne by the tenderer.
The Council reserves the right to award all, part or none of the business, not to proceed with the tender arrangements at any stage of the procurement process and nor to accept the most economically advantageous tender or any tender received.
