The BBC has protocols in place for all high risk work and deployments, whether in the UK or overseas. Anyone deploying on assignments to situations where either environments may be considered to be hostile (which may be man-made such as conflicts or violent disorder) or covering events such as terrorist incidents, natural disasters or pandemic diseases; or which could include coverage of protests and volient demonstrations within the UK will be required to have undergone appropriate training to be able to deploy and work as safely as possible.
The contract for provision of these High Risk Training services will be in 2 lots:
Lot 1 covers the provision of UK based HRT, UK based HRT Refresher Course, Overseas HRT and International Public Order Training.
Lot 2 is for the provision of UK based Public Order training; specifically it is for those staff who need to cover protests overseen by UK National Police and encompassing countries with similar legal protocols and tactics/techniques.
Bidders who wish to be considered for both Lots will need to complete a PQQ Response Questionnaire for each Lot individually. Bidders who wish to be considered for only one Lot should complete a PQQ Response Questionnaire for the appropriate Lot.
