Event management for Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) Meet the Buyer Workshop
Each year the Northern Ireland Tourist Board in association with Tourism Ireland targets and invites key international tour operators to meet the Northern Ireland industry to:
1. Encourage those tour operators programming the Republic of Ireland but not currently including Northern Ireland in their programmes to do so.
2. Encourage those tour operators currently programming Northern Ireland to extend existing programmes to include additional or new elements of Northern Ireland tourism.
In 2009 it is expected that some 100 key international tour operators will attend the event. These operators will be highly targeted; the majority coming from Northern Ireland’s priority markets.
To ensure that the opportunity is maximised, it is important that we recruit around 100 key representatives from the Northern Ireland industry to meet these influential buyers. Numbers of operators should be equal to the number of local industry in attendance as there will be a series of scheduled business appointments held throughout the day.
The Northern Ireland Tourist Board now wish to appoint a service provider to oversee all operational issues of this 2 day event which will run for an initial period of one year with the option to extend for a further period of one year.
