The Trust wishes to engage the services of an independent consultancy to review the compliance of the Estates function with the applicable statutory and mandatory requirements, and to provide a management plan for compliance.
The required output from the exercise is a comprehensive Audit of Estates services presented within an integrated risk management tool or software package for future Estates compliance management.
The Audit must be able to provide an appropriate level of assurance for the Trust Board through the Director of Estates and Facilities in respect of Estates compliance. It will form a major part of the Estates Department evidence in respect of Outcome 10 of the CQC standard.

It is intended that the audit be carried out within three months and the tool be in place before the end of March 2011
