This requirement is for the procurement of a Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) including software, installation, configuration, training, maintenance, support and consultancy (if required).
The contract is expected to run for a three year term, with the option to extend the contract for two further periods of twelve months each.
The contract aims to assist the department in maximising the use and development of its digital assets.
The supplier will provide a software solution and infrastructure design which will satisfy the existing requirements of DOE and cater for the rapidly growing requirement over the next five years.
The DAMS software will reside on DOE IT infrastructure and be available to all staff within the department across the various offices in Northern Ireland.
The DAMS software will allow for the classification and retrieval of Digital Assets from a distributed server infrastructure, SAN and archived storage sources.
