Translink is the public transport provider of bus and rail services in Northern Ireland and is the ‘brand name umbrella’ under which operates the 3 public transport companies – Ulsterbus, Metro and Northern Ireland Railways (NIR).

Scope

Translink have identified surplus bus and train materials and are offering these for sale 79 separate pallets/boxes.

Bids are invited for any combination of pallets/boxes or all pallets/boxes – but MUST be for ALL material in each pallets/boxes. Pallets/boxes CANNOT be broken up or split into constituent parts.

All goods are deemed ‘sold as seen’ and without warranty at the sole risk of the prospective purchasers and Translink provide no guarantees on their operational condition.

Descriptions of goods are indicative and Translink accepts no liability for any errors or omissions in descriptions.

Translink reserve the right to award all, individual or none of the pallets/boxes advertised to the most commercially advantageous submission.

Prospective purchasers may view the available pallets/boxes Tuesday 4th November 2014 between 09:00 & 12:00.

Translink accepts no responsibility for any goods once the ownership has transferred to the purchaser, which will be on the clearance of payment.

It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser to arrange for the removal of purchased goods.

All costs of disposal will be the sole responsibility of the successful bidder.

Translink will NOT provide personnel or equipment to facilitate the removal of goods; this will be the sole responsibility of the successful bidder.

Any activities undertaken by the successful bidder at the Translink site would be solely at the bidders’ risk.

Submissions are required by 12:00 Friday 7th November 2014.
