The South East Wales Community Economic Development Programme is part funded by the Convergence Programme and seeks to build economically sustainable communities by providing a grant programme that is part of an integrated regeneration strategy to overcome barriers to, development of, and participation in local economies. The Programme will focus on the most deprived communities and on asset-based development to allow for the increase in the provision of local services, and public procurement.
The Regeneration and Planning Division is inviting tenders to procure a contract to provide organisational and business development support for community and voluntary organisations in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area. This will bring forward projects from the community and voluntary sector that are able to deliver sustainable projects that will have a positive impact on the local economy.
Although the focus is primarily within Rhondda Cynon Taf the supplier will also be required to support cross boundary initiatives in keeping with the delivery of the Programme.
