participate in the Pre Qualification process for the provision of an Executive
Leadership and Development Programme.
This programme should deliver:
• The overall enhancement of organisational capability through the
structured development of senior executives & managers
• The grounding of learning & development in the practical realities of
business practice within Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail, with a particular emphasis on
• The provision of a reservoir of talent to position for future key roles,
directly informing the organisation’s Succession Planning strategy
• To enhance management competence and productivity by providing
learning & development interventions which are aligned with business needs
The delivery of this Programme will enable the delivery of a common, across-the-
organisation set of management values, policies & practices, where every aspect
of the company’s activities is benchmarked, and the support systems to sustain a
common management philosophy are put in place.
