The works involve the dismantling and removal off site of the freestanding tube and fitting scaffolding including associated elements at Cormac's Chapel, Rock of Cashel. The freestanding scaffolding has an oversailing roof and is fully enclosed with Monarflex sheeting. In addition, there are approx. 7,000 blocks (kentledge) in the nave of the Cathedral. The scaffolding tubes and fittings are to be stacked in stillages and delivered by the successful tenderer to the following locations:
1. OPW National Monuments Depot, Athenry, Co Galway
2. OPW National Monuments Depot, Killarney, Co Kerry
3. OPW National Monuments Depot, Kilkenny, Co Kilkenny
4. OPW National Monuments Depot, Trim, Co Meath
All other elements, i,e. monaflex sheeting and site hoarding are to be disposed of by the successful tenderer.
Scaffold tubes of the same length must be stacked together.
Scaffold fittings (same type) to be put into bins.
